Overview
The Safety Pin Artwork Project is excited to promote artists of all ages and abilities. In keeping in the spirit of the project we have a few guidelines for participation. Please read the following guidelines before submitting artwork.
The process is simple:
First, you must complete our form located on our landing page (https://www.safetypinartproject.com/) under "Contribute Artwork". You must confirm that you the artist and have rights to the work. Additionally you will need to grant the Safety Pin Art Project the ability to use your image on our website.
After you have completed the form you must email your digital file to :email@SafetyPinArtProject.com. Please put your name and title of the piece in the subject line.
Your information will be validated and your artwork and information will be loaded to the site. We will send you a confirmation email letting you know your artwork is ready to be seen by the world!
If you your artwork is selected to become "street ready" we will contact you directly for next steps, as this requires a signed release from the artist.
A final note about content; The Safety Pin Art Project does not restrict the subject matter to the safety pin symbol. We are eager to see how our artists interpret this project, however we do reserve the right to decline artwork if it is not consistent with the mission of the project.We absolutely will not tolerate any hate speech, symbolism or other imagery meant to demean, intimidate or threaten any individual or community.
Original Artwork
You must be the artist of the work submitted!
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to content submitted by you, and the submission of such content, do not and will not violate any intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyrights and trademark rights) of any third party. You agree that you will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Safety Pin Art Project for any claim or demand made by any third party due to violation of these representations and warranties, or otherwise arising out of any submitted Content.
For artist under the age of 18, who wish to submit artwork, we must have permission from your parent or legal guardian.
Art Medium
We hope to inspire artists of all types to participate and welcome all visual art mediums, as long as they can be provided via a digital file for upload ( see the link below for more information). We can not accept any physical artwork. All artwork submitted must be a scanned photo or digital file.
Due to size restrictions we cannot accept files in excess of 800 KB and more that 60 Mega Pixels.
